Best practices

"Best practices."

We hear the phrase, but how do we know what they are?

In the world of manufacturers representatives (reps, for short), we've long had Best Practices groups. It's a brain trust of sorts. Typically, it is reps in a single industry in different territories. The one my parents belonged to actually had a name, it was LMNOP which was an acronym (before they were everywhere) for Lindberg, Mancus, Northport, or Penzner. Those were the five reps who were in the group. My mom even had an LMNOP necklace. I probably still have that thing. This group was comprised of reps who all represented Grayhill

I also have a best practices group of women who are reps. We cut across a variety of industries because we are all members of MANA. We have an annual conference where we discuss our businesses and how to improve them. Join us for our next event in March 2025... we'll be in sunny San Diego.

Any woman who is an independent manufacturers representative is welcome to join us. Message me and we can chat about why this is a good idea for you, too. This can by your favorite best practice, too.
